and its variants such as basket weave, flecked crepe, or finely
ribbed up. highly sophisciated ties often combine these textures.
Sepcial effects, including pleated, flocked, gum, or watered
silk, are done up on order for fashion houses.
The printed silk tie, simpler than its woven counterpart and
compatible with full range of motifs, is more common. silk
printing, which consist of screening colors on to the fabric
on by one, demands a high level of technical mastery.The reproduction
of a painting on a tie, such as the one depicting Monet's
Water Lilies, can call for fifteen or more screens. soom of
